Process

I applied online at the end of October and received a HackerRank challenge invitation the next day. Overall, the process was very quick.

The process included:

  • A HackerRank challenge (48 hours)
  • A phone interview with HR
  • An onsite interview with three parts:
    1. Intro/Programming Interview: Discussing the HackerRank challenge.
    2. Computer Science Fundamentals: I expected the usual algorithms questions, but it turned out to be about how computer hardware/software works, networking, and related topics. I felt my knowledge in these areas was quite poor, but I used general logic to answer the questions.
    3. Project Deep Dive: Discussing one of my recent projects.

During the onsite, I had time to ask questions about the company at the end of each interview and had lunch with two new graduates.
