Coworkers are approachable and knowledgeable. Optiver does not require 80+ hrs/week of work for devs like some HFTs do.
For me, I did not want to work in HFT.
It's good. All the stages are clearly defined and show you how to prepare for them. The coding interview is quite hard; you should prepare well for it. Focus on DSA and OOP for the system design.
1. Online assessment: HackerRank and mental games 2. Behavioural interview 3. Two technical rounds: Data structures and algorithms 4. Three interview rounds: Final round - Data structures, object-oriented design, behavioural interview
The interview process was pretty normal. The OA (online assessment) was hard, but I somehow still managed to get into the phone interview. I was rejected after the behavioral round. The interviewer was nice and provided feedback.
