The interview was moderate and consisted of four rounds, including an HR round.

It focused mainly on DBMS, OOPs, and DSA.

This was an on-campus interview where VPs and managers conducted the 3rd and 2nd rounds, respectively.

Overall, it was a nice experience.

Round 1:

• 2 DSA
• 2 SQL
• 1 OOP

DSA 1: Check if a binary tree is symmetric. DSA 2: Given an array, form a number by concatenating the array elements.

OOP: Polymorphism. SQL: 1 easy query, 1 tough query.

Round 2:

• 1 DSA question: Given a matrix of stations and trains. A '1' represents a train starting from that station, and another '1' means a train ends at that station. Stations are linear. Find the path from source to destination with the minimum number of train changes.

• Another question: REST and UI APIs are updating a database. The REST API erroneously considers the primary ID as a string and appends '1' to it, while the UI API normally increments the ID. Rectify the REST API errors.

Round 3:

• Some common questions:
  • Check if a solved Sudoku is valid in one traversal (visit each cell only once).
  • Sudoku solving without backtracking.
  • Given a date and a number of days, find the next date after adding the specified number of days.

Round 4:

• HR (chill)
