Process

Technical F2F interview - don't bother about what you know. The interviewer will only try to show off whatever he has read on GeeksforGeeks. It seems he himself is trying to look for a job change, as all questions were from GeeksforGeeks.

The interviewer was fairly young and didn't have much experience in taking interviews. He gave me a problem statement to solve on arrays and linked lists, but in between, he himself was getting confused on the output criteria. The output criteria he was telling contradicted his second test case.

This same thing happened when I wrote the code. He again looked confused and started pointing out, "How? Your code will fail on this condition." Then I had to show him with dry run steps (output on each iteration). When he saw that the output was correct, he started giving weird expressions.

Whatever solution you give, he will only look for the solution he read on GeeksforGeeks.

...

Now, the worst part of the interview process was the lack of HR presence to coordinate your interviews. I had to wait hours to get my first round.

The inexperience of the technical interviewer was clearly visible when he doesn't ask you about yourself, your projects, project architecture, etc.

Also, when I met with a few Oracle employees, they also shared that, yes, the interview process is not good and appraisals are rare to think of. People have been working on the same salary for the last 3 years, and also, the salary is not on par with the market.
