The Oracle OCI process was the most clumsy and uncaring I have ever experienced. For each interview, I had to check with HR/Manager to get the interviewer to join. They didn't realize I couldn't see all the test cases in HackerRank. Interviewers struggled to frame questions and couldn't answer basic queries. The HR behavioral interview, scheduled for an hour, was cut short when the interviewer stated they would ask only one question, giving me time for other interviews. A total of 6 hours were wasted on communication, reminders, and dealing with poor questions, leaving me exhausted. I had high expectations for Oracle OCI, but it's no wonder there are layoffs, as management seems directionless.
Q. IPv4 and IPv6 validation in Java. (Cannot use regex, so expect to write lengthy code with no test tools and no autocomplete. Remember all APIs.)
Q. From a family tree, find ancestor/sibling information. (They themselves couldn't define how information is saved, so assume. No test data available. Asked me to solve with DFS as well as BFS. Don't think of multiple marriages/step relationships; I was wrong in thinking that.)
Q: Design a volume space availability service that will provide exact information on volume available.
