The Hiring Manager reached out to me about the position.
The first technical round interview was with an architect from the USA, which I cleared.
The second technical round interview was with an architect from India, which I also cleared.
The third round interview was with the Hiring Manager from India. This was mostly non-technical, where he talked about my projects and skills. Later, he asked me about my salary, notice period, and when I could join. He told me to check with my current company and keep all things handy so that when HR called, we could discuss the offer.
After two days, I didn't get any calls or updates. I sent an email to HR and the Hiring Manager. I received a response stating they were interviewing other candidates and would consolidate all interviews before letting me know.
Previously, I had cleared Oracle interviews twice but didn't receive offers. I also didn't get calls or replies to my emails from HR or the hiring team. Fed up with their professionalism, I had dismissed the thought, but this time I was concerned and asked HR for a clear outcome. After two days, I received a reply: I was rejected again after clearing all rounds.
I would suggest Oracle HR or the hiring manager ask the candidate about their notice period and salary upfront if there are concerns, rather than wasting their time. Otherwise, please don't waste our time.
I have now taken a vow that I will never interview with Oracle again, as they are the most unprofessional company in the IT industry, at least in my experience.
Oracle's hiring cycle is too long, often extending for months.
