I applied through Naukri.com and received a call from HR. I attended an interview at the Oracle office. They conducted four rounds in the office, and then they informed me I would have a call from the US. After that, I attended two calls from the US, and subsequently, they conducted one more telephonic round from India. Following all these stages, HR called me and stated that all feedback was positive. We had a salary discussion, and he mentioned he would send it for HR approval.
He called me again after a week and told me that HR had given approval and he was proceeding for final approval. In the meantime, I was supposed to undergo background verification, but nothing happened for another week. I then called HR, and he began stating that he had received negative feedback from the US. They wasted one and a half months of my time. They did not have the courtesy to provide proper feedback. He said he would refer me to another opening. Two weeks later, he called and asked if I could interview for another job. I agreed and gave the interview, but the HR representative has not provided any feedback since.
If they do not intend to offer a high salary, why do they call for interviews and not even have the courtesy to give proper feedback?
It was a complete waste of time to interview at Oracle. I had a very, very bad experience. There was no formal courtesy to provide proper feedback.
