I was interviewed face-to-face two days ago and received an update from HR, upon asking, that I was rejected. This came as a shock to me.
There were two technical rounds. In the first round, there was only one question: finding a prime number. I didn't remember the formula and could not answer. Otherwise, I replied to everything excellently.
In the second round, I performed 100%, and the interviewer seemed impressed. I believe the first interviewer rejected me because I couldn't provide the exact formula for a prime number.
I felt I performed outstandingly (I know I might be overconfident), but I did. Since both interviewers were junior, I suspect the first one rejected me out of fear.
Architecture, Data Structure Tree, REST, Java complex code, etc.
