The process started when the PM reached out on LinkedIn and invited me to participate.
I then had a chat with the HR representative to discuss the company, my salary expectations, and my background. He was pleasant at the beginning.
The next step involved a series of interviews on the same day. Initially, the recruiter responsible for scheduling sent me an email the day before with the agenda for the following day, without confirming my availability. This was a significant time commitment, especially given my 9-to-5 work schedule. It's unreasonable to send such an email the day before expecting immediate participation. I informed her that I wouldn't be able to attend the interviews the next day and requested a reschedule.
After the interviews were properly scheduled, I requested half a day off. Despite this, she still scheduled one of the interviews for the morning.
There were four interviews:
In general, most of the interviewers were arrogant. One example was the response I received when I asked one of them about the most challenging aspect of their team. He stated, "There is no challenge; we are very good developers."
Subsequently, I was ghosted. I sent a follow-up email requesting an update. Two days later, the recruiter responded, informing me that they would "pass" without providing any useful feedback.
