Cons: Nothing I can remember.

Pros: Internal training, white paper, software access, vacation, salary hike during new hire. Special salary for IITians only, even retention amount up to 5L per year, starting 12L per year. Retention applicable for the first three years. Nice time for IITs, not for others.

Cons: No raise, no bonus. Layoffs worldwide: USA and Europe, 800 during the last week of November. Layoffs in January worldwide, 14. Layoffs in India, December 1st week, for cloud, 24. Effectively, no job security for anybody except a few IITians and selected few who are being backed by higher management and selected for promotion. Long-term managers are hiring team members with higher remuneration than their own salary. Long-term employees are paid much below market rate, as there were no hikes in 2008, 2009, and 2013 – black years. Very less hike in other years. To top it all, no job security. In the US, numerous higher management employees and IDC employees are unable to grow beyond manager in most cases. I do not know what the future is for average employees here. Totally disillusioned in the present circumstances. Everybody is not from IIT, nor technology entrepreneurs, nor can get backing from VPs. So what happens with them?

Pros: - Hybrid model - No office politics

Cons: - No overtime pay. - Has to work very hard. - Slow process.
