Process

The interview process began with a round covering aptitude and basic computer science concepts, including programming, DBMS, and OS.

Following this, there were three technical rounds and one HR round.

I was selected for the first two technical rounds but was then rejected.

Questions

First, they asked me to tell them about myself and my favorite project on my resume. They then asked me to explain my favorite project.

Next, they presented a question about finding the square root of a floating-point number.

Following that, they gave a string-based problem. You were given a sequence of strings from which you had to remove duplicates and then sort them.

Finally, they asked me some DBMS-related questions concerning queries, normal forms, and other basic concepts.

In the second round, a group of 7-8 people sat in a room. We were presented with a large problem statement involving a city network, and we had to connect them with the minimum possible cost, subject to numerous other constraints.
