I applied for a front-end role. I was asked to provide system design, mainly focused on backend and application clustering. I answered them, and I was thinking there might be more questions related to front-end coding afterward. However, then came questions to write middleware/backend code.
Even though this role was for a front-end position, I was not asked a single question about any of the front-end technologies. The whole discussion was completely irrelevant to the role.
Some system design level questions.
