Pros: The expense policy was fair, and compensation was about average. Network access and the laptop were sufficient for the job. There were no real allowances for working out of a home office.
Cons: Constantly having to find creative ways to settle down clients who were over-promised technical and application abilities by sales.
Once you get to the Director level, if you want to advance, you better start showing the ability to "bury" people.
You won't make it to a higher level without being ultra-aggressive to the point of hurting others' careers.

- Of course, a good brand goes on your resume.

- You have learned from the people around you.

Pros: It's a large company with good benefits. The workload was okay. Pretty good work/life balance.
Cons: It's an original tech giant that's trying to find its footing among younger, more agile tech giants.
