Process

The interview process consisted of:

  • 4 technical rounds (Round 2)
  • 1 managerial round
  • 1 HR round

The technical rounds were lengthy, lasting over 1.5 hours each. They thoroughly tested concepts and understanding of testing, and also included SQL questions. Puzzles were asked in every round except the HR round.

You need to be very strong to crack the technical rounds. Please do not take the HR round for granted; this was a mistake I made and it led to my rejection. I cleared all other rounds and reached the HR round.

A friend working at Oracle told me the HR round was just a formality, so I didn't take it very seriously. I don't know what the interviewer didn't like about me. In this company, HR personnel do not conduct the HR round. Instead, the head of the project for which you are being hired will conduct your interview.

Questions

All about testing, SQL joins, etc. In the managerial round, they will ask about the projects where you worked. Don't say anything that could trap you. Your answer will decide the next question in this round.
