My interview was in Noida, Sector 127. The interview process was pathetic. They gave me an 11 AM slot, and my interview started at 3:30 PM.
They were hiring for automation testing, but not a single programming question was asked. They were actually looking for a manual tester. It was 2018, and all the questions were about manual testing.
They did not even ask about my skill set: Java, Selenium, Python, or REST, despite the position being for automation testing.
Given the brand name, I had prepared with algorithms and OS concepts. I didn't realize that this company had no standard for QA automation, especially when even small companies are moving into automation.
Most importantly, stop wasting people's time if you have already selected your referral candidate.
