Good place to experience a big tech company

Pros: Businesses use Oracle software. There are great skills to carry over if you want to be a consultant.
There is a great work/life balance here. If you are an older tech worker, this is one of the best places to be.
Cons: Bureaucracy. This company is huge. The lawyers run the show. The CEO thinks too much of himself. We need new blood at this company. At the end of the day, Oracle sells enterprise software.

Not a best place to work, but it's huge and things take forever to get done
Web Developer • Former Employee

Pros: Cafeterias, training is good. Oracle OpenWorld is a great conference. A good place to work, but you probably don't want to end your career here.
Cons: You are a cog in the machine.
Not all employees are driven or smart.

Pros: Work from home (even before COVID).
Lots of freedom to get my job done the way I see fit.
Great coworkers, surrounded by some of the best and brightest.
It's Oracle Technology, so you know Oracle is going to be the place to work if you use it!
Cons: Some of the decisions of upper management, I am at odds with.
