Oracle is one of the best companies to work for if work-life balance is a significant concern for you. It offers exceptional flexibility.
Employees often complain about not receiving salary increases and claim they will leave the company soon, but they rarely apply to other companies because of the flexibility here.
Salary increases depend on the organization. Even if your product performs well, do not expect a salary raise, bonus, or RSUs.
In the field of app development or within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), you may expect RSU or bonus. But if you were to ask any Oracle Global Business Unit (GBU) employee, they may not even be aware of what RSUs are within Oracle. You may wonder if Oracle provides RSUs at all.
This discrimination I do not like at all.
No advice because many reviewers have given advice regarding salary, but it doesn't matter much to them.
Very long and theory-questioned areas: * SQL & PL/SQL queries * XML Publisher Reports (BI Publisher) * Interface & Conversion logic * APIs / Web Services (REST/SOAP) * RICEW components (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Workflows) * Know
It's quite deep regarding the technical concepts, but really good concerning the interview part. They asked to implement the logic on a few programs. Different aspects of the interview process were: * Implementing algorithms on multiple programs. *
3-stage tech + managerial interview. Initial tech rounds involved a normal coding assessment and some questions on the tech stack. Later, the Vice President was on a separate call to explain the scope of the project and set expectations.
