I had a good interview experience and felt confident about how it went. Still, I realized that my real passion lies in the machine learning field, which isn’t quite aligned with the position’s direction.

It depends on the company; I had 4 rounds, while some had 3. There was an OA, followed by technical interviews (tech1, tech2, tech3), and then an HR interview. It was easy, but I don't know why I was rejected.

First, I cleared my college OA round, which consisted of two easy DSA questions and a few MCQs. Then, there was an interview session a few days later, in which everything from my resume was asked word by word.
