It is a semi-government-like organization with a lot of red tape and lengthy procedures.
Also, never join Oracle if you are looking for good compensation.
Corporate bonus, stock grants, and yearly appraisal budgets are a joke. This is true not only for junior positions but also for senior positions. Hiring is difficult due to non-competitive salaries.
Budgets suck.
