Nice campus.
They allow you to work remotely part of the time.
Long hours; they expect you to work all the time with little or no raise.
Lots of politics. They look at any tiny, minor mistake that you make and will make a big deal out of it on your review. During their review cycle, they need to screw over a certain amount of people, so they will screw you even when you work hard for them. No loyalty whatsoever.
If you work there, run like hell.
I applied through the Oracle website. The recruiter contacted me by phone. She asked me about the general interview process and my background. Unfortunately, I was unable to receive the first phone screen.
Multiple rounds: Recruiter screen, senior engineer screen, and managerial round. It was a long process. Focus on STAR, behavioral, and customer-server related questions. After the interview, the recruiter called and said they have a hiring freeze.
The recruiter call was good, and I thought I did well on the first coding interview, but I didn’t pass. Overall, it was a pretty chill interview process. Make sure to go over the questions on LeetCode because my problem came straight from there.
