Pros

Plenty of time to contemplate where to go next.

Cons

This could go on for pages. Simply put, Oracle couldn't care less about the vast majority of its employees. Larry recently earned 1 billion overnight; however, 90% of the engineering staff making him rich does not get any bonus whatsoever. Pay is significantly below market average, and technologies here are far behind industry leaders. You won't learn anything transferable for your next job, except maybe PowerPoint slide making and meeting notes taking skills, which are viewed as the most important skills here.

Advice to Management

None. Managers that would actually listen do not have the power to change anything. Managers in power won't listen to a word you say.
