Pros

No sign-in/sign-out system. Work from home.

Cons
  1. Worst managers who say they are the king of Oracle.
  2. Worst HR who never interacts with the employees (in 3 years, I did not get a single call or mail asking how life is at Oracle).
  3. Managers take the position of directors only by flattering seniors.
  4. No proper training channels for anyone (you will be given Safari Books in the name of training, HAHAHA).
  5. No importance of appraisal or feedback (it's thrown directly into the garbage).
  6. Most managers believe in workplace harassment, and there is no check on them (HR is 0% involved).
  7. You will find no corporate etiquette or behavior from managers.
  8. Recruiters cheat people while joining by not informing them of the business unit (for my review readers, do ask for the BU name before the interview. Only if it's Server Tech or Apps Dev, then proceed, otherwise say goodbye immediately).
  9. All the big and fancy words or names that you've heard of Oracle are a myth if you are joining any BU other than Server Tech or Apps Dev (other BUs are CGBU, CEGBU, RGBU, etc.).
  10. Pathetic work culture if BUs.
Advice to Management
  1. HR should perform their job.
  2. Managers should be kept under check.
  3. Workplace harassment should be addressed by higher levels, and measures should be immediately implemented.
  4. Have an original exit interview, not just for the sake of it like an appraisal meeting.
