Good benefits, flexible working schedule, and fun coworkers.
There isn't a focus on retaining current employees.
No specific directions or path for career growth.
They need to work on growing people who have been committed to the company for a significant amount of time, instead of hiring new people to take higher-paying roles.
Even for employees who want to stay, the minimal raises and lack of bonuses or stock grants after hire make income go down over time.
Good employees can't afford to stay here and watch new people come in and take higher salaries.
Super demoralizing.
You have good people who've been here for a long time. They already care about and know your product. Reward them or lose them.
