It is a technology mecca to learn new things. Engineers are very smart, but unfortunately, these engineers are not recognized. The directors, senior directors, and VPs are dead weight in this company, as they have no clue what’s going on. These mid-level managers are all concerned about their survival, hence the politics overshadows the individual contributors.
This is one of the worst companies I have ever worked for. They keep acquiring companies, and it has been disastrous in integrating them. This company has the worst culture ever, and people are identified based on the company from which they come. People in Oracle never embrace the new people who come onboard when their existing company gets bought over by Oracle.
There is no recognition, bonus, or raises for the last couple of years. The middle management (director to all the way up) is filled with a bunch of morons and idiots who have no clue about the company's direction or strategy. Mid-level management is bloated.
Do a house cleaning and fire those underperforming mid-level managers who are unfit to be in the organization. Technically, a VP and a Senior Director do the same job of pushing the envelope from one table to another. Why pay them so much? It is okay to lay off people and recognize those engineers who really work hard.
Recruiter screen. 1 hr Technical screen round. Then, the Loop interview. The Loop has 5 rounds (1 hr each). It is a mix of situational and technical questions. Coding and system design are part of it.
They have scheduled Round 1 Video Interview. The interviewer didn't even know basic interviewing etiquette. Nothing about me or my work experience. Nothing about what the role is or what they are looking for. This is for Oracle Eloqua.
The interview process consists of 4 technical rounds. One round is on system design. The other 3 rounds focus on different technical aspects, such as Networking, Cloud, SRE, and DevOps practices. One round is with the Hiring Manager, focusing on tea
