The acquisition by Oracle has taken a hit on all employees and it blocked all promotions/hikes for employees.
Freshers get paid more than those working for 2-3 years. They call it market standard. If it's the market standard, they should also consider giving proper hikes to current employees as well.
Take good care of the employees you have currently. Everyone I know has either left or is thinking of leaving Cerner sooner or later, mainly due to a lack of increment and promotion.
