Salary does not keep up with inflation. There are no performance-related pay reviews. It's almost impossible to get a salary adjustment without leaving and coming back. This is a broken system. Unless you are in sales (and threaten to leave) or the latest coolest development role, it's not going to happen.
Look after your staff; they are your greatest asset.
First, I had an HR screen for 30 minutes. This was followed by separate interviews with three people who would be my peers within the department, and a manager. HR was a bit slow, but the peers and manager were great.
Very pleasant experience. Questions focused on Oracle databases and the cloud environment. The interview took about an hour, during which we discussed the lambda architecture. Unfortunately, I did not make the shortlist. Cloud technology expertise
I had an interview with HR, then the Hiring Manager, and also the Sales Director before receiving an offer. The actual process ran smoothly, but from the time I received the verbal offer until signature, it took about a month. It was a long wait.
