Good work-life balance. Decent work. WFH privileges.
Behind the curve in terms of technology. Low salary compared to the market, but more flexible work hours, etc.
There are tons of non-performers in most groups that I have worked in. Even when reported to management, they take no action, and it makes the performers feel they should work less too. Sometimes managers with no technical background are easy to fool; just throwing jargon and asking for deadline extensions for delivery, most things do not get delivered.
First, I had an HR screen for 30 minutes. This was followed by separate interviews with three people who would be my peers within the department, and a manager. HR was a bit slow, but the peers and manager were great.
Very pleasant experience. Questions focused on Oracle databases and the cloud environment. The interview took about an hour, during which we discussed the lambda architecture. Unfortunately, I did not make the shortlist. Cloud technology expertise
I had an interview with HR, then the Hiring Manager, and also the Sales Director before receiving an offer. The actual process ran smoothly, but from the time I received the verbal offer until signature, it took about a month. It was a long wait.
