Forward Deployed Software Engineer Interview Experience - Washington, District of Columbia

Process

I applied online, completed a coding challenge, and then had a coding phone interview. This was followed by an onsite interview at the DC office.

The recruiters were very nice and responsive to any questions.

I learned a lot about the company culture and mission during the onsite, which consisted of:

  • Two coding interviews
  • Two decomp interviews
  • A product demo
  • A talk with the hiring manager

I didn't have any experience with system design, and thus did not receive an offer. However, the recruiter was kind enough to call and provide feedback on what went well and what could be improved, which I really appreciate.

Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely apply again.
