I spoke with their internal recruiters a few times before being offered a video interview with the team.

The interview had two people on the call: one was the manager, and the other was a team member shadowing the call. The manager seemed very disinterested, almost annoyed at having to be there, but the other person was very nice.

The call consisted of general work experience discussion and a CV review. Then, I was given a task: to go through a hypothetical scenario where one of their systems goes down. They provided a brief description of the system, and I then had to explain my process for diagnosing the issue, how I would approach it, and attempt to fix it.

Not even two minutes into the task, the main interviewer suddenly started moving and… returned with a crying baby. A crying baby, on camera, on the microphone. Whenever he spoke, I could barely hear him over the sound of the baby crying. It was extremely distracting and unprofessional, and I ended up constantly losing my train of thought.

A week later, I received the rejection email, which was not surprising given my experience. I really liked almost everyone else I spoke to at the company, so it's a shame the interview itself ended up like this.
