I applied to Palantir through their careers page. About a week later, I received a response from a recruiter and scheduled an interview through Karat.

The Karat interview followed this format:

• Introduction: Approximately 2 minutes for self-introduction.
• Subjective Questions: Around 15 minutes for three simple, subjective questions (e.g., complexity analysis, discussing the feasibility of approaches).
• Coding Challenge: Approximately 45 minutes dedicated to coding. The interviewer began with one problem and progressively added complexity until the time limit was reached.

The initial two coding problems were LeetCode medium difficulty, and the third was LeetCode hard.

The interviewer was highly professional and explained the problems clearly. Overall, it was a very positive experience. I was able to complete two problems entirely and brainstormed through the third, achieving partial implementation.
