Pros: Great pay and benefits; people are great.
Cons: The flat hierarchy makes it unclear at times who you're meant to report to, and the overall vibe is a little too competitive and secretive.

Pros: - Complete ownership of an important company project, although it is a little daunting in the beginning.
- Very supportive culture that is willing to offer lots of guidance; I never felt completely lost.
- Laidback working environment; I came into the office at 10 am most days.
- Decent work-life balance as a SWE (may be different for FDEs), pretty consistent 40-hour work week.
- Everyone puts a lot of interest into your career growth; they want to see you enjoy and succeed at your work. My mentor and lead were amazing.
- Get to travel a bunch even as an intern, which is super cool!
Cons: Fewer intern social events than I expected, at least in the NY office.
