Cons: The flat hierarchy makes it unclear at times who you're meant to report to, and the overall vibe is a little too competetive and secretive

Pros: -complete ownership of an important company project, althought it is a little daunting in the beginning -very supportive culture that is willing to offer lots of guidance -- i never felt completely lost -laidback working environment, i came into the office at 10am most days -decent work-life balance as a SWE (may be different for FDEs), pretty consistent 40 hour work week -everyone puts a lot of interest into your career growth; they want to see you enjoy and succeed at your work, my mentor and lead were amazing -get to travel a bunch even as an intern which is super cool!
Cons: -less intern social events than i expected, at least in the NY office
