I had a phone interview before the onsite interview in NY. The two were three weeks apart.
The interview with the hiring manager was pretty weird. You really need to convince them that Palantir is the dream workplace for you (which should be the other way around).
Questions
Design an application where the user can:
- Add ingredients along with their quantity.
- Ask for meal suggestions.
This was an open-ended question. What would you use for storage? What should the database table look like? How do you get recipes? How do you store recipes/ingredients, etc.?
