After several weeks, a phone interview with an engineer was scheduled.
The phone interview was conducted on a computer, where I worked on a problem while the interviewer provided hints.
The question was easy, but I was nervous, so I did not perform well.
After a few weeks, I received an email stating that the position was not a fit.

Pros: It has good leadership at the top under Dr. Karp. A lot of their work will provide a sense of purpose and genuinely has a positive impact on the world.
The office perks are also excellent, especially the food.
Cons: Palantir is arrogant and even borderline cultish. Below Dr. Karp, it suffers from immature leaders and managers. Being a people lead only implies that you have power over people, not that you have people skills. Few checks exist on a manager's power to ruin your career, especially if they subjectively determine that you are not a good "culture fit." A lack of "culture fit" means that it's OK to mistreat you because you're different, not that you don't fit into Palantir's culture.

Pros: Amazingly smart coworkers and managers -- a much denser concentration of brilliant people than anywhere else I've worked.
Great office perks (food, dogs, etc).
Fun culture.
Cons: If you're looking for anything close to a 40-hour work-week, then Palantir probably isn't the right place for you.
They expect a substantial, continuing commitment of time and energy.
Expect to spend most of your waking life in the office.
