Principal Software Engineer Interview Experience - Israel

Process

My interview process spanned four days:

  • Day 1 (Zoom): Technical interview and a system design interview.
  • Day 2 (On-site): Met with the team leader.
  • Day 3 (On-site): Met with the group manager/director.
  • Day 4 (Zoom): Spoke with the HR recruiter.

After a few days, I received a call stating I didn't get the offer. With each step I completed, the recruiter messaged to say they wished to advance me in the hiring process. Naturally, I agreed and scheduled the next meeting. For the final on-site interview, I had to take a day off from my current job.

It was a grueling process, completely unbecoming of such an established company. I would expect that if they felt strongly about my abilities, they wouldn't invite me for more interviews and waste my time. I would never consider interviewing with them again.
