Process

I was interviewed for Software Intern - FrontEnd Team for Summer Intern 2018.

Had three tech phone screens and a couple of calls with the recruiter. The process took almost 2 months.

Round 1: As this is for the front-end team, a lot of questions are on JavaScript.

  • Explain closures.
  • Explain bind, apply, and call.
  • Couple of coding questions based on setTimeouts.

Round 2:

  • Event Bubbling and how to stop it?
  • Questions on scope.
  • Class-based inheritance vs. prototypal inheritance.
  • Tricky coding questions on JavaScript.

Round 3:

  • Two questions on algorithms (LeetCode Easy level) – better to do in JavaScript.
  • Behavioral questions.

Questions

Class-based inheritance vs. prototypal inheritance.
