The intro interview was fairly simple. The last round was a presentation, and that was graded terribly.
They asked me to center the technical presentation around business value, and I did. They told me to give the presentation first and that they would ask questions during the end. This was stated via email and at the start of the call.
After the call, they told me that I would be a perfect fit but that I was too technical and did not give them time to ask questions during the presentation.
I still have the emails for reference. They definitely strung me along and then picked someone else for reasons that have nothing to do with whether I can do the job or not.
