Pros

Creators are top priority, and all business is conducted as such. You truly are helping creators get paid.

Cons

Annual layoffs of one-third or more of the engineering team, including all new employees within the last year, people with recent promotions or raises, many with excellent review marks, and many holding vital systems knowledge.

The executive team has no idea what they are doing. They take the first bit of seemingly good advice they are offered and run with it, even if it means hurting employees.

Advice to Management

For the sake of all of Patreon's creators, stop shooting yourself in the foot.

Replace the entire exec team with people who can figure out how to make Patreon succeed.

Stop hurting people along the way.

Start being genuine.
