The way they dictate your worth as an employee does not correspond with the work you do. People are willing to pick up tickets that are below their skill level and leave the people who are inexperienced with tickets that are above their skill level. They do not manage their developers well enough and do not understand the capabilities of each developer. The people who are left with tickets that are above their skill level will be left in the dirt, as you will be blamed for not producing quickly enough, or the people you ask for help will then take credit for what you've done. The team leads change constantly and do not give much guidance through our tasks. During probation, it is highly recommended to reach out to the TL about your performance, as they won't tell you until your probation is done. You will not know what you are expected to do until you have no safety net. They don't care about getting difficult tickets finished; they only care about how many tickets you've done. If someone were to do one difficult ticket that took a while, and another person were to do a lot of small tickets, the person that did the small tickets would most likely be considered better performing. The $4 lunch is actually miserable. I wanted to point that out since they like to advertise it.
The interview process was 4 rounds. - The first round was a coding assessment. - The next round was a technical interview via Zoom. - The following round involved discussing experience. - The last interview's format was unknown.
There was first an online assessment with multiple-choice programming questions, then a technical interview with a LC easy/medium, then a final interview (technical and behavioral questions). Overall, a pretty easy process.
This interview process includes behavioral and technical questions, which is classic amongst interviews at most companies. Be prepared to answer basic questions about object-oriented programming, along with good practice in LeetCode problems. Payco
