Paycom treats interns really well. The internship had many great events, networking opportunities, and fun activities. We had access to free snacks and food, and an amazing Codeathon – one of the best internal hackathons with lots of coding and great energy. The projects interns work on are often side projects, and it's unclear if Paycom actually uses them in production.
Recently, there’s been a lot of internal team reorganization, so regardless of performance, don’t expect a guaranteed return offer after your internship.
Give interns more clarity on how their projects are used and consider providing stronger pathways for return offers to retain talent.
