I received my first phone interview with the recruiter, which led to a second interview with the hiring manager. After that, I was told not to study LeetCode but to focus on React practice, and to expect to build a web application using an online coding platform for the third interview.
In the third interview, I was given four algorithm questions (LeetCode style) instead, and we did not touch on React at all. I'm fine with doing algorithms for interviews, but candidates and recruiters should be informed beforehand so they can accurately tell candidates what to expect. I had primarily studied React and Node.js, which were listed in the job description, but neither of those skills were tested during the interview.
Other than that, it was a smooth process.
