I was contacted by PayPal HR. Though I said I am only looking for Mumbai openings, HR said I should interview because PayPal has roles that allow quarterly visits to the office.
I gave the screening round, which was really good, but the hiring manager at the end asked if I can work from the office, which I couldn't.
After that round, I was completely ghosted by the recruiter. It felt like a waste of time and disrespectful to ghost candidates after asking them to interview.
