Process

The entire process took almost a month.

There were four rounds:

  • The first two were technical rounds.
  • The third was a techno-managerial round.
  • The fourth was with the Director of Engineering.

HR communicated well until round four but ghosted me afterward, which they could have handled better.

Questions

Round 1: Longest Common non-repeating substring

Unique numbers in an array

Test cases for transferring money between two payment gateways (positive, negative, edge cases, performance, accessibility, security)

Test plan for feature, current framework explanation.

Round 2: Given a scenario for Rest Assured. Was asked to create an approach for designing POJO, utility, response validation, test data utility, etc.

Few questions on CI/CD, UI automation.

Round 3: Selenium internal architecture, Selenium Grid, framework explanation, conflict with dev, issues in prod and how to resolve, and a few more behavioral questions.

Round 4: All questions were based on what we have mentioned in the resume.
