Process

The process is extensive and very time-consuming, taking around 1 hour per interview, with interviews occurring every week or so. I had a quick call with an HR person, who explained that all candidates have between 2 to 6 interviews.

The first interview was a review of my tech stack and experience, where we discussed Java and other technologies.

The second interview was a technical test, a live coding session, which was not difficult.

The third interview was with a product owner, basically repeating the first interview. At this point, I felt it was a waste of time, but I continued the process.

The fourth interview was supposed to be with the "tech manager". However, to my surprise, the only person there was another HR representative. They explained that the team was looking for someone with a specific tech stack and they were unsure if I was the right profile. They stated that the team would need to review my profile again to see if it fit the role.

Honestly, it would have been easier to say, "We have already filled the position." That happens all the time. To me, that was just an excuse.
