Pros: Company culture is awesome. It's very easy to interface with other teams to get work done. PayPal embraces a mobile work life, making it extremely easy to work on the go or work remotely when needed.

Cons: Minor headaches with supporting legacy systems. However, given the nature of the payments industry, that's unfortunately expected.

Pros: Awesome cafeteria! Great yoga teacher too!

Cons: Bad management, no planning, technical infighting, managers who lie about their employees. What an insane lack of discipline, oversight, and waste of money. To think all that money flows through here on a daily basis and is managed so poorly. Every single person I dealt with was terminated after me. However, it was easy to see that no one cared about how I was treated. What was said about me was outright libelous, but the manager did not have any consequences. This is a sad, fast turnover place which, with some effort, could be the place they give lip service to. Get in if you must, but be prepared to leave if you have ethics.

Pros: Good culture and work-life balance.

Cons: Keep up skilling yourself to survive.
