I interviewed for the checkout team.

I received a Karat interview invite – two easy-medium problems. I had to use JavaScript. I finished both in 30 minutes, with 20 minutes to spare.

Recruiter phone screen: We talked about my career and interest in PayPal.

Loop:

• Round 1: An easy-medium question similar to the Karat interview. Again, I had to use JavaScript.
• Round 2: System design. I had to design Amazon's reviews service, assuming all other systems were in place.
• Round 3: A very easy coding problem, but the focus was more on communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Round 4: Behavioral questions about situations in the workplace.

The recruiter told me the interviewers were really impressed but my experience was a bit low, so they asked me to apply to other openings.
