Applied online for PayPal and received a phone interview with the hiring manager.
During the interview, I was asked technical and behavioral questions.
Don't neglect behavioral questions, as they are looking for a culture fit as well.
After clearing that round, I was called for an on-site interview.
Questions
Phone Interview:
- Basics of UNIX, Scalability, Java.
- HashMap Question
Onsite Interviews:
- Reverse String in Python.
- Find duplicate character occurrences in a string using only basic data structures, no HashMaps.
- Design the PayPal website: What components would be present, etc.
