Process
The process was smooth from beginning to end. Recruiters always kept you informed on what was next.
They seem to be busy with a lot to do, so they are actively interviewing and trying to get more people on board.
The interview consisted of a phone screening, a take-home exam, and then an on-site interview with 5-6 people, including lunch.
Overall, a very positive experience. You get to meet technical staff there and exchange ideas regarding technical problems or questions.

Pros: - 4% match for 401k
- Amongst a lot of boring and meaningless work, there are some pockets of pretty interesting things to work on.
- Taking time off is respected for the most part.
- There is opportunity to step up if you really want to.
- If you are the right cog in the wheel, you can dodge layoffs and try to fly under the radar for the steady paycheck.
- WFH/Remote-friendly (so far).
- WLB is pretty decent if you put your foot down and set boundaries.
Cons: Corporate office politics is rampant.
Reorgs and layoffs are constant.
There's a huge layer of fat in middle management that slows things down and refuses to be cut.
Priorities change every day.
There's a lack of vision, transparency, or accountability from management.
Compensation is pretty average.
The company is adopting a sweatshop mentality with the new CEO.
The path to promotions and career growth is unclear.
There's no innovation, and engineers lack the bandwidth to even think about innovation.
