Process
I got an interview via college placement.
The first round was an online test on HackerRank, lasting 75 minutes. It included 10 MCQs related to technical programming and 1 programming question.
Twenty people were selected out of 270 for the second round. This round consisted of three technical interviews and one HR interview. Two candidates were selected for full-time positions, and two were selected for internships.
Questions
Given an array, delete elements such that the deleted element multiplied by its number of repetitions will be added to your score. The elements with the number minus one and the number plus one will also be deleted. Find the maximum score.
EX: 2 3 2 2 4 1 5 4
- Selecting 4 deletes 5 and 3, getting a score of 4 * 2 = 8.
- Selecting 2 deletes 1, getting a score of 2 * 3 = 6.
So, 6 + 8 = 14 is the maximum score possible.
