Pros: good mentor relationship good training and education

Cons: Remote work and not strong work relationships.

Pros: Comparing to industry peers for good and benefits, if lucky. Nod your head always to the boss's environment. Surveys happen regularly.

Cons: Be always wary of being impacted by a yearly cut-short culture. Performance equity allotted for good work will also be taken away. Old-timers rule. Learn legacy politics only from bosses who can't thrive in modern work cultures. So, they make the lives of other hardworkers or ICs miserable. Pushback culture leads to no career growth. Surveys happen regularly. But, leadership uses them to identify people who are unhappy, raise concerns, and then let them go when they open up through their answers. Lot of good PR or media pull. The company then initiates layoffs in the name of restructuring. It's an utterly cheap practice. Few good leaders were packed off. But, the top leadership of the company sits tight without their salaries or equity impacted in any way during such pandemic situations.

Pros: Great Tech and learnings. Great Staff and leaders.

Cons: Things might be a little slow, maybe it being a large fintech corp.
